I originally worked in apparel. After getting married and having a child, I wanted a job with weekends off. I thought of Meisei Correspondence, where my father and grandfather worked. It's a job related to infrastructure and offers a stable future.
My high school was in the information field, so I was a complete novice at construction work. However, I was told that I could get by with hard work, so I decided to join the company. After joining the company, he took charge of construction in the Construction Department. I work in cooperation with craftsmen. In the beginning, I didn't understand the technical terms, so when I was asked to "bring a band saw," I brought a bandage and was laughed at. A band saw is a chainsaw-like device that works with a band. Nowadays, we have extensive training programs, so we learn the basics before going to the job site, but in my rookie days, I was taught on the job site by senior workers and craftspeople every day.

One of my most memorable experiences was working on the wi-fi installation of a golf course clubhouse during my third year with the company. I was entrusted with the entire project when I was just about ready to stand on my own. I had made all the arrangements myself, including the schedule, but I could not finish the work.... I promised the customer that I would finish in one day, but.... In the end, I apologized to the customer and continued the work on another day. On the way home, I reflected on the situation with my colleagues. I realized how inexperienced I was and learned what it means to take responsibility for one's work. Also, no two jobsites are the same. Each site has different hurdles, such as having to install the equipment in a high place. For projects in the middle of construction, we also have to work with electricians and interior decorators. I like talking to people, so I really enjoy working on sites where I can cooperate and collaborate with various people, and I am glad to have this job.

I believe that this is a company that places the highest priority on the growth of its people. The company also provides full support for the cost of exams for certifications such as Type 2 electrician and construction manager (comprehensive telecommunications), as well as e-learning training programs. The president is very close to me, and we have interviews with him, but he picks up on the opinions of younger workers and reflects them. Recently, the design of work clothes was changed based on the opinions of young workers. Senior workers at the company sometimes accompany young workers when they purchase safety shoes and other clothing and tools. Of course, the cost is paid by the company. Clothing with the Meisei Tsushin logo has also been created. I would like to make this company a better place by working together with both young and experienced workers.
